Make your wedding day memorable.

So you have just booked your venue…. What do you do now?

Outfits, flowers, cake, invites, evening do, guests, food…. There is a VERY long list.

But don’t forget the most important part is the actual wedding ceremony.

Think about how you want your ceremony to feel. Choosing a civil celebrant means that you have a great opportunity to tailor your ceremony in a way that is meaningful to you.

Are you a member of a club or community? You could add an element in your ceremony to involve them. A guard of honour with tennis rackets as you walk down the aisle for the tennis fans, a football coloured handfasting ribbon, your local brass band group or choir playing as you start your ceremony.

Are you an avid karaoke fan, who wants to sing your vows, or have you secretly learned how to play the guitar to serenade your loved one?

Would you like to involve others in the ceremony? Have a look at adding a sand pouring ritual or a ring warming ceremony ( more ideas on my website)

Take some time to sit down together and write a list of all your wedding dreams. What do you both love doing together? Talk to your wedding planner and celebrant to see how they can be added to your special day.
