Hello.

My name is Ruth and I am a true Yorkshire lass. I live in Huddersfield with my husband, two teenage sons and an over friendly cat called Geoff. I have always had a passion to work with people, in a caring and supportive role. I taught for over 25 years in Primary schools and I am also a forest school teacher.

  • Ruth was very thorough in her preparation and discussions with the family before the service and took on board our wishes for the service. On the day of the funeral she was fully prepared and performed an excellent service of which Christine would have been proud. We would recommend Ruth to anyone needing a celebrant.

    Jim.

  • The most important part of the process from our perspective was that almost from the outset, Ruth 'got us', and it became evident to us that it was just as important to her that she 'got us'.

    Janine and Colin.

  • "We were touched by the beautiful eulogy that Ruth wrote to celebrate the life of a very special auntie. She listened carefully to all of things that we shared and spoke with real sincerity and compassion."
